Artist Neysa Bhatia young artist just 14 years

I am a student of Class 9 at Modern School, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi. Since early childhood I have been fascinated by the works of various artistes, both from India and overseas. I have a creative side to my personality and spend my spare time sketching, painting and experimenting with various art forms.

I guess, my mother did spot my liking for fine arts early on and enrolled me at the “National Institute of Fine Arts (NIFA)”. I successfully received 2 Diplomas from NIFA in honour of outstanding performance and dedication in the years 2019 – 2020. At the age of 12, NIFA provided me with a platform to showcase a few of my art works at NIFA’s 14th Annual Art Exhibition 2019 held at All India Fine Arts and Crafts Society, Rafi Marg, New Delhi. My happiness knew no bounds when one of my paintings was actually sold at the said exhibition.

I have since participated in a few more exhibitions including those conducted by Art Grooves. I am thankful to Ms. Poornima Dayal (Founder of Art Grooves) for her encouragement and continuing support. Art is something I am passionate about and I intend to further enhance my artistic skills and pursue formal art education so that I am able participate and compete at the national and international art forums. I feel I can express myself through my paintings and I find happiness and satisfaction while creating works of art.
