Pollution level in India has decreased
New Delhi : Coronavirus has caused panic almost in all countries of the world. According to the figures so far, one lakh 80 thousand people in the world have lost their lives due to this virus. At the same time, lockdown continues in many countries to prevent this infection. Due to the lockdown, the movement of vehicles is very less, most of the factories are closed and people are leaving their homes only for essential work.
This lockdown is helping to fight the spread of the Coronavirus, as well as its staggering impact on the environment is seen. The level of pollution has come down sharply due to the lockdown. As the problem of pollution in India has ended, the US space agency NASA has also shared the satellite picture and confirmed it.
NASA has released a satellite picture saying that pollution level in India has decreased. The lockdown has been implemented since 25 March in India and around 130 crore people living here are in their homes. Factory, car, bus, truck, train, aircraft is closed due to lockdown in the country. After these activities stop, the picture of India captured by NASA’s satellite sensor is staggering. According to NASA, the level of air pollution in North India is at the lowest level. NASA has said satellite data shows that the level of airborne particulates in North India has fallen significantly since the start of the ongoing lockdown for the coronavirus.
